A journey of a thousand miles begins with a first step, and if that step is in the right direction, and if pursued with consistency and diligence then only success can be the end result. We work as Advocates for social change, seeking Responsibility and Respect for African women.

Mission
WAAW Foundation seeks a world in which the African woman arises to take her place in the Commonwealth of nations, with a stable, healthy and powerful voice. We work to facilitate lasting change among African women by strengthening capacity for self help. This includes:
(a) Encouraging and supporting education, health and economic advancement.
(b) Providing support forAfrica's female HIV/AIDS orphans.
(c) Addressing discrimination against African women.
